Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder using Generic Lexapro Tablets

What is Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)?

Major depressive disorder is a disabling condition which is thought to be caused by a chemical imbalance in parts of the brain. This imbalance affects the whole body and can cause emotional and physical symptoms such as feeling low in spirit, loss of interest in activities, being unable to enjoy life, poor appetite or overeating, disturbed sleep, often waking up early, loss of sex drive, lack of energy and feeling guilty over nothing.
True clinical depression is a mood disorder in which feelings of sadness, loss, anger, or frustration interfere with everyday life for weeks or longer and adversely affects a person's family, work or school life, sleeping and eating habits, and general health.
Generic Lexapro corrects this chemical imbalance and may help relieve the symptoms of depression. Generic Lexapro may also be used to treat patients who have excessive anxiety and worry.

What is Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)?

Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is an anxiety disorder that is characterized by excessive, uncontrollable and often irrational worry about everyday things that is disproportionate to the actual source of worry.
People with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) are extremely worried about these and many other things, even when there is little or no reason to worry about them. For diagnosis of GAD, symptoms must last at least 6 months.
This excessive worry often interferes with daily functioning, as individuals suffering GAD typically anticipate disaster, and are overly concerned about everyday matters such as health issues, money, death, family problems, friendship problems, interpersonal relationship problems, or work difficulties.
Physical symptoms that individuals affected with GAD exhibit include fatigue, fidgeting, headaches, muscle tension, muscle aches, difficulty swallowing, bouts of difficulty breathing, trembling, twitching, irritability, sweating, nausea, numbness in hands and feet, lightheadedness, having to go to the bathroom frequently, feeling out of breath, restlessness, insomnia, hot flashes and rashes and inability to fully control the anxiety.
